These guards are to stop the string {?} from ripping your forearm open eh,
I saw a guy on Blokes World Dry fire a compound saw.His fore arm was a mess ,
blood blisters everywhere, geee it looked painfull,But I don't think you should dry fire a Bow anytime
Given up on my Buck tactical folder, bummer
EDIT 4 more molle pouches arrived plus some 100mm Velcro
Now to mount them
Dry firing a bow is ALWAYS a recipe for disaster! Due t the forces involved, it can splinter the fibreglass limbs and bows have been known to shatter.
My compound bow is 60lbs and I have only hit my arm, majorly, once... forearm was black, blue and purple for a week wit massive bruise! Not fun, I can assure you.
next project is to fix a few of these onto a board or frame so I can attach to the inside of rear door.
Not a fan of the table on the door, so it will be storage whilst in transit .
Might even put some on the cargo barrier?
Im back on Tuesday OD, so if you're free, can catch up on Wednesday... try the arm guard.
Sounds good to me. I will be looking at getting a 60lbs bow later on in the year
If I don't get back into pistol shooting again, I will look at getting a hand-made Long bow. Let me know when and what you are looking at as I should be able to get a decent price through archery....
Have some Histoacryl for you too.
is it poss to get that histoacryl from my doctor for my first aid pouch.
going to cut a bit of 10mm ply the size of the rear door and fix some 25 x 25 mm mesh to it
then fix my molle pouches to that
@HL + Geko do you guys run a 4" exhaust by any chance??
Took the scales off the tactical to powder coat but they are some kind of composite,
so I'll grab a can of Galmet bright yellow and give them a spray, bummer
Bumble bee here I come mmm
two strips of this mesh should be heaps to hold a few pouches
I'll space it off the ply board backing about 6mm
