Driving my patrol, music pumping and smoking cigarettes. Happiest 20 minutes I've had in ages.

The ball weight is only 180kg and the overall weight is about 2900kg... she is a big beast 24ft long.

Tows really well...

As for me using my car the trip interstate was an emergency trip and this morning i was just dropping a van off down the road.

I will get the ute back at the end of the week and when the new tow car is bought i will have the ute full time after that.

My 98 GU fitted with a genuine Nissan Tow Bar and is rated at 150KG Ball Weight and towing 2800KG(Braked).
Does your GQ have different specs ???

Pretty sure mate the old gq is max at 2.5T legally..

Anyway i am happy......... out to dinner with the family at the local rsl.

Yeah same here. Just got home after going out for dinner for our 15th wedding anniversary.
