OK, its a Nulon Product, called Long Term Anti-wear engine protection with PTFE, Autobarn have it currently on special for $25 a can, I use 2 cans as a singe treats up to 6L sump volume. This is a cumulative residual treatment with the micro particles remain in situ after deposition. I simply redose at each oil change. The can says its a 12 month protection.
There is another Nulon product around the same cost, and it contains molydenum, without the PTFE, and it probably does a similar job, however is a product that is lost at each oil change, so you need to re-dose each time. I used to use molybond in the diffs/gbox and transfer case, but have changed to another Nulon teflon additive in a tube, cant remember why I changed, only that oil changes with the molybond additive seemed to be messier due to the additive - maybe my methods and housekeeping were at fault though?

I think you could find this Nulon stuff at Supercheap but price check as I am finding Autobarn are typically 15% cheaper than SC for the same item.

Was running the truck today to put the engine oil additive in, and let it idle for maybe 15 mins, then shut it down, followed by an eruption of frothy coolant from the main interchiller tank. I checked the flowmeters and flowrate prior had been non registering, so passed it off as a battery pack issue, but looks like the pump has been cavitating and churning the coolant to bubbles - like why now? Anyway I tong tested the power cables and they should be pulling 25amps on the main pump, pulling 15amps so the pump isn't working. I have already ordered a new tank cap as this was leaking, however starting to thin the tank may need to come out and be reconfigured for a lower pick up point as the circulation pump shifts 15LPM guaranteed and is a beast, plus might need to add a check valve in the return line I am thinking to hold the pumped liquid aftr shutdown, instead of having it siphon h=back to the tank and lose operating capacity - never ends , but then it could also be the truck was pointing downhill - dunno, clutching at straws as its run perfectly up until now, but everything has a reason , and 'whats changed' is the chant.

Righto, investigated and found the source of the leak, there was a crack in the plastic filler cap, and the inevitable foaming that takes place was releasing via that crack to ground. Simple task to fix you would think, but NO. I had been waiting for a new cap assy to arrive and despite it being the same part number, the cap threads were different and it would not screw in. This required removal of the bung in the tank, which required the hole in the floor to be increased in size, a new cover plate made, then fitment of the assy, which also needed the drivers side seat removed. Anyway, its done, no leaks, and have a spare unit for next time.
Both displays on the battery powered flowmeters appear to have given up the ghost, very hard to determine flowrates at a glance for the two intercooler circuits. I will monitor the system performance and decide later if I need to replace. Both are LCD screens, one in direct sunlight and the other in the hot engine bay, maybe two distinct failure modes???

Been a while since any work on the truck. I loaded up the truck for a trip next week and found the rear is dropping again, unsure if its the overall weight or too many cans in the fridge, but anyway, back to Dobinsons for another setup on the rear. I have decided to upgrade to their C45-371T coils which are a 550-700kg 4" lift, up from C45-315 250-400kg 4" lift. the 315 coils are running with a 30mm thick rubber spacer. Might get them installed before the trip, would be ideal.

All else good, no leaks from anything, engine, transmission, hydraulics, everything must be empty????

I did upgrade to 'Moose Knuckle' shackles for the front and rear. They are a style of split shackle that allows attachment of strap to the knuckle , without need for a separate shackle. Range of colours to suit all genders.

Headed away into Burgoynes Gap again for 4 days, brilliant weather, came in the Cheynes Bridge approach, top radiator hose decided to leave the chat in the middle of a long winded climb, simply pushed the hose off the top tank spigot - engine was starting to get up into the mid 90's, anyway, lost about 5L of coolant, hell of a mess, but clamped the hose back on - the clamp tightened up ok, and remained so for the trip home, so another mystery. I was going to replace the clamp or at least swap out for the 'pro-flow ' or similar with the nut assy, but maybe now just keep as a spare.

Solar kept the battery bank nicely charged up, never fell below 13.1v for the 4 days with the fridge running, coffee machine 4 days, ran so hot the first time it thermal shutdown for 2 hrs! Loving the lithium system, used the induction cooktop whilst my brother ran out of gas - very satisfying!

New coils arrived whilst away. Swapping out the Dobinson rears from C45-315 - 250 - 400 variables, 4" lift to Dobinson C45-371T 550-700 constant, 4" lift. Will see how that sits. The articulation and ride is fine for what I do, just want it to site close to level so it does not attract attention.

Does anyone know how much the front axle/diff assy and the same for the rear weigh? I am trying to equate the new springs to the actual load above them, rather than take the caravan scales verbatim, as the axles and wheels dontget supported by the springs

OK, it seems the axle housings are around the 100kg and the diff centres the same, so if I deduct 200, plus 30kg for the wheels, the spring rates are where they need to be.

OK, rolled over to @MB's on Monday and swapped out the coils. Big difference in ride stability, no more boat rolling as previous, still leans over into corners a bit more than I would like, but happy with the result.
Car rear raised by 30mm, bringing it just a little tail up, which is good stance as it is 80% full.

Noticed the Intercooler circuit from in-manifold coil to roof radiators was not working, pump not operating. Check it out yesterday and the motor is slightly humming, only pulling 1.25A/7 on name plate. Its mounted under the car, is a marine gear pump, but obviously not waterproof, so I think the drink it got going into Burgoynes has killed it. I have pulled a spare pump of previous make (Aeroflo) out of the stock and checked it, also not waterproof, so applied some waterproof coating and copious amount of silastic to the cable gland and will see how that lasts.

Lift pump swapped out for roof radiators, no flow - WTF, same hose connections etc, must be the pumping resistance is too great for the Aeroflow pump, plus having issues with the burping of the system, more bee stings. Parked up in the garage, have to go back to work today, sort it out tomorrow maybe. Might need to go back to the original gear pump with some waterproofing?
