Love my boys
@ Kimbo is one a double coat, or is one more coarse, please explain lol
The long haired one Chong is what they call a bear coat comes out in the breed every now and then the other one is the normal horse coat
Good little read here about the Chinese shar pei
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shar_Pei
Ps We also have 2 Burmese cats Kronic and Maryjane
Didnt realise the breed was so old, I thought they were a chinese fighting dog to go against the Akita.
Good little read thanks for sharing
Bella's first camping experience last weekend, she was so good and loved a swim in the river.

Still can't get Diesel to swim though, he will walk into the water until he can't reach the bottom but will not go any further.
Bella loved swimming though!
My Dingo wouldnt go in the water when I used to dive he would follow the bubbles and when Id surface he'd be there waiting.
Tell him to go sit on our towels and back he'd go and stay there, and they say you cant train Dingoes BS.
@ Winnie so you dont mind a wet dog in the Patrol?
That was at our campsite, would rather not have a wet dog in the car but shit happens.
Nearly time to go pup shopping again, would love another Doberman we'll see,
The wife is after a blue male staffy, so looks like I'll have to settle for a female
staffie.
Why a female you ask, well they are cleaner than a male around camp. A
male will cock his leg on everything he can find, and being a staffie small
enough as a traveller like a Jack russell,
Fingers crossed but I need a big dog for security around here, so it may be a Dobie

My 8.5 month old Hungarian Vizsla, Fergus
Dingos, Reds, Blues, Bitzas,
All super faithful pack mates !
Wet dog in the car :-( Easter weekend a few years ago packing up camp on the Murray found old Blue smearing herself in the reminance of slackass campers !
A descent stern word had her bolt back to the GU ute (drivers door open) and slide past every touchable part inside :-( !
By far the worst ride home together ever, staring/smelling she loved it, I gagged and still have nightmares to this day :-) !
Have City A-holes ever heard of a shovel ?
Cheers MB

G'day TD,
Full respect above old mate :-)
Best security I've ever known is the tone of old faithful mates, smaller/yappier the better :-) !
Once known yap decibels twig our sleeping ears, time to bring out the big toys :-)
All dogs are awesome, love em :-) :-) !
Cheers MB
Also owned a Dingo [pure] for 12 years that would have to be the best one man dog on the planet.
At camp she would sleep just out of the fire light, and god help anyone who walked into camp.
Would never bite but just bale you up so you pi$$ed your pants.
Forever bring snakes back to camp half dead, blue tongues you name it.
Easily jump a 180cm back fence, missed her heaps
I agree, 3D I never really could trust our friend's dingo cross. Their kids could just about do anything to it. In the back yard it was stroppy as all hell at any intruder, but outside the front gate it was as placid as could be.

hanging out to get another dog of my own, would dearly love a Doberman as Jack was an awesome dog.
This time around Im thinking smaller, something with a bit of grunt and a female this time, as they are
much cleaner around camp. Ive had a Jack Russell but too yappy IMO great dog though. Thinking an
English Staffy or a Bull Terrier. Missus wants a blue Staffy to replace Tyson, shite I miss him and Jack
and Croozer
Looking good Irish, a mate had two as hunting dogs, Laverne and shirley lol.
As you stated great temperment. Im hanging to get a pup even more now grrr
How tall now???
what do you think he has extra ,,,dane /greyhound as well maybe???

A more recent pic.
OMG what a drongo,,, classic mate thats gold lol
Will have to measure him to make sure but easily mid to high 60's at the shoulder.
He's a mix of irish wolfhound with some staghound in there, so he wont get as huge as a pure wolfhound, but the mix should hopefully stave off some of those pure bred big dog medical conditions and give him a big more stamina to boot.
A lady who lives nearby has a wolfhound/bull arab and we cross paths on the morning walk sometimes, her boy is a beast, not as tall as our guy but broad and built like a brick shizenhousen.
I can remember the size of the paws on Laverne and Shirley,
they were huge
This is Ollie My very very very spoilt Jack Russel
