4x4 Photos & The Great Outdoors.

That is one of the best shots i have the seen, the first one where ya hit the water and show full view of the spray and whinch and wipers about to let you see, very well done to the photogtapher

Here is a link to a Google earth map i just done, so you can see were riverside road and the quarry is. And the tracks we use to drive, some nice rock ledges to drive as well :) Some of my mates before i got my 4x4, use to drive up a rock ledge at the lookout, It was very close to the drop off down to a very deep gully, I would of hated to see someone roll it.

Best to change the map to satellite view.....shows the terrain better

Good on you Todd for all those great photos mate, such a shame that we are losing all those great places to go for a drive, well done mate for warning everyone that area is out of bounds with the photos of the signs and that this forum does not condone driving on these places.:bigthumbup::cool::cool:

Tipper, if you are referring to the photos that I posted, the photographer was my youngest son, he was filming for the comp organisers and I was one of the marshals.

It is a big shame, we have lost everything close to us here in Sydney......don't mind going away for a weekend trip, but when you want go for a quick play after work, there is no chance around here......Best part about this spot was it was so close.....a group of us would go there nearly every friday night after work... drive the tracks up to the look out, get a camp fire going, crack open a cold one and catch up, nice social gathering, was better than going down to the pub / club.

Nah these were the days long before the forum Todd...lol

I had my entir elife of trips, photos, videos and dropped it on the floor one day and It's dead. Might be able to take it to a wizz bang I.T person to see if they can get the data off it maybe.
