Little bit different again , its a SAND Goanna .spotted this one at
Dead Horse gully in Tibooburra not SA but NSW.

Probably the closest sand to where I live, Borah Creek in the Pilliga, NSW

I think you are geographically confused there, Tibooburra is in NSW. :)

Yeah my bad and I also think a sand goanna is called
a Goulds goanna not 100% on that though
