Last night tonight! Woohooo what an intro to the world of 12 hour shift work. One day shift then straight into 5 nights. I haven't died yet so I think I'm going to do alright in this world B-)

Halfway through my second swing of nights. It's not that bad. I sleep well when I get home about 7am but I'm out of it when I wake up!

Mines very similar, 07:00 to 07:00 day or night.
I don't mind it, just exhausting with the commute!
My commute is about 6 minutes which is another reason why I looked into this job.

Working from my home office has it's advantages.
Separating work from non-work is the hardest part.
I feel if I tried to work from home I'd either get far too distracted ( Cars, PS4 etc..) or just grow to loathe my home as it would remind me of work.
I'm studying at the moment and as it stands I can't bring myself to study at home, was so bad I was considering renting a self storage unit and putting a desk in there to study haha
Mine's a bit less than that. I reckon if I cranked up the speed on my treadly, I'd beat my ute to work. lol.Quote:

Well the 3 extra hours turned into 10 hours. Started 9pm. Were meant to be off the road by 4am. The pylon borer bursts a hose and is rendered immobile right before 4am. Mechanic comes out, fixes it by 6am. Ok beauty. But wait, the borer had more in store for us. The hydraulic pump lets go...Quote:
