Yes we are very lucky save a few idiots that stuff it for everyone else.

I dont get how they can just take that away from us.... the track was all in good condition with no rubbish or track destruction that i could see last month.?
Is there any consultation on these decisions. ?
That's exactly how it is. Those tracks start life as smooth easy access fire tracks then they deteriorate until they get fixed up again. Just think, for every track that is smoothed back out, theres dozens that are more fun to drive than ever before
>>>tappin from tassie
can you stll get those es maps books, with all the tracks on them
Agree with Tas...
To be fair those tracks are Fire Trails (going by the posts) and the lives of the volly BFS guys and gals depend on being able to use them in their strikers.
Not to get at the fire but to be able to get out, fast, and usually a different way if it all goes pear shaped.
It's easy to forget that and nobody has the time to go dozing tracks after the fire has started and a crew is trapped.
We get a 50/50 chance over here when the trails get too gnarly for the BFS vehicles.
IE sometimes they doze them and leave it open, some times they doze them and close access.
F$#k i hate going to funerals .... at least this is a week night and should be a short ceremony.
I have to speak to family that are oxygen thieves. ... blah.
