Have you allowed for the compression of the 80 series bumpstops as the compress a heap

Yeah it's a bit tricky Brando, I might jack the car up on the weekend and sit the tyre down onto this bump stop and see how much it compresses before fitting them.
The Amadas are the third set of shocks into the back of this car after destroying the rear shocks twice with no bump stop mod.
The Amadas are expensive and I need to get this right.
Do you know how much they compress?
Put em in a vice or something this should give you something to work from.
Well had a play with the 80 series bump stops and this is what I learned!
They Measure 150mm long.

So as you can see I put it on the jack and tried to lift the car with it!!
It compressed........ And Compressed!

Down to just under 80mm!! The factory rear bump stops measure 70mm!
I need 160mm of protection!
These are being sold all over eBay as a great upgrade for a Nissan! Are they? I dont think so! Bugger it!

Maybe not much good to you as they are in Sydney: http://www.nepean-rubber.com.au/ but I'm sure if you rang than with your requirements they could do it. Not sure on cost though been a custom one off job
