For those out there thinking of fitting HID to your GU answer is simple "dont" it will discolour your
reflective lens
Limit the output to 70w Hi/Lo and you should be fine. Mine are fitted into Hella inserts and have not posed a problem, but they are not legal as stated above. Massive improvement on light output and vision in wet conditions with HID over the halogen, but....Quote:
