Little Blue Lake Mt Gambier.
Mudnut, I guess you have it, as this is a "Where is" thread.
Thought the Sth Aussie guys would have got it first.
This one is tricky, as not many people would come across it.
is it a fire tower look out?
Was at one stage.
No way would I climb it, not good with heights at all.
Was it damaged after some fires in Victoria, maybe around the Beechworth/Stanley area??
its not the Pinnacles tower is it, I only went to car parking area never to the tower
You said tricky so not the Pinnacles tower
We have been away for a few days, thought the Vic guys would have guessed this.
I still have no idea where it is.
Another clue: Grey sandy tracks.
Is it in or near Murray Sunset National Park?
Further south.
Around Little Desert?
Further south. Think swamp.
Footrot flats
I can only think of Kowloon swamp or something like that
Kowloon swamp?
Did you mean Kow swamp on the Campaspe River, TD? If so then no.
Redgum swamp.???
Good guess, Kallen, but think "Off the beaten track"...
Nah the swamp place I was thinking of held record size yellow belly
reading all the answers I can only think of Border track [grey sandy tracks]
Too far north. Kallen has been closest so far. I typed in Kowloon swamp and only came up with Hong Kong. Yellowbelly are high up on my best tasting fish list.
Bump......
More clues... This area is a patchwork of swamps, private property, tree plantations and reserves.
Mt Richmond national park??
