Looking forward to knock off that's for sure.. Before this one gearbox shoits itself again..
They have left it for so long we've had to weld the key to the shaft as the keyway on the shaft was non existent.. And it's still a looser fit than a 90yr old hooker...
Stupid but is, Its been flogged for 12months + (before I started) and they haven't made the New bits or got the gearbox... That's a 5 week turn around...
So not looking forward to the next few weeks.. I think I can predict 1 of the brake downs... Lol

Yeh that's no good man, don't they realise it costs them more doing it that way what happened to preventative maintenance. Just finished now. The last hr was a struggle had an employer/ employee briefing so was falling asleep.

Last night's culprit.. It lasted 4 hours.. They pulled it to pieces and it turns our its the wrong gearbox... It's a 2" box on a 50mm shaft.. And the dumb ass fitter has just turned it down to 50mm after a weld up... :banghead:
So our instructions are slap it together.. Again.. :banghead:

ahh spewn thats the thing with shift work i find is that is hard to organise the time to do some priority things that need to be done because your either on shift change or the last of your nights just seem to turn to pot and you end up chasing your own tail.
hope things look up for you mate and you get your car sorted. hows the round oz trip looking?
Still the plan. But Its getting further away. It'll happen, were now thinking maybe do 6 months, and then see how we go. If we haven't killed each other and are doing well we'll do it more seriously..
The old Q is loving the spruce up.. It should be like New once done.. Steering wise anyway.n
