Ay quick q NN in regards to the gear gq gearbox. Is there a way to inspect internals visually with out pulling it out, or half the car apart?

Not really. You can't access all the bolts from the top while its in the car and there isn't enough room to remove the top either. Is yours playing up?
3rd jumps out once gearbox is warm under de-acceleration. I saw a while back a bloke posted the same with his 3rd and 5th gears. Found 2 bits in the bottom and the were said to be clips to hold the gear in..?
So I assume I have a similar issue.
But after half a million of long drives I just wanna check 5th for any signs of abnormal wear.

The stick is very sloppy so I might do the stick ball swivel thing.. see if that makes it better

Funnily enough it's raining here too. Not hard but pretty much all day.
G'day ppl how is everyone going, struggling tonight as the little one has been off school sick so have not had much sleep, will be having a power nap during my last smoko. Gotta love the car pooling, my mate is driving so I can sleep on the way home. Makes a huge difference when I was doing 900 of km a week now down to driving one night in three is awesome saving nearly $100 bucks on fuel but best of all the km's on the rig are not racking up as quick.

Yeah troll is good I've been laying low mate trying to stay awake past 930 but always pass out on the couch has been a few times I've jumped on put a post up and passed out :( but I'm on the ball tonight hahaha
