if your gonna go a 4" snorkel I wouldn't try and fit the factory one before hand, the holes needed probably won't quite line up with your 4" one and then you'll have extra holes to patch in your guard.

I currently have a piranha dbs which has no interconnect or dual sense. Also contemplating down the track upgrading to the redarc sbi212d dual sense one. Currently looking at hooking only through aux.

Yeah not going roof mount for it. Either under bonnet/behind dash or in rear on cargo barrier.

Yeah I was led to believe the closer to the battery the better, how about in
the foot well on the left hand kick panel. Its only a short run to the Aux battery from there.

Some high pressure braided hose arrived , I also have some quick connect fittings to suit.
This will join some air tanks I have on the cargo barrier, hopefully This will help it look neat.

I dont know why they dont use a decent clamping system though. Westy are they meant to be used with hose clamps?

I'd assume so.
I guess there are a few variables with actual OD between brands..

Superior do a cnc clamp but it only suits there shocks..
Fox being imperial may be a slightly different tube size.
