Here I was thinking a "hit up Birkdale" was a around of golf......lol

birkdale has a scottish fish and chip shop that on thursday does 10 dollar haggis fish black or white pudding pizza sausage or burger pattie suppers very nice everything is deep fried and battered yes even the pizza and mars bars no wonder I'm a fat bastard

So here's my dilemma right ... went inside for a bit and the kids are watching Happy Feet 2 ...

First of all, the whole talking penguin thing ... I can deal with that ...

Then the concept that they sing hip hop, Elton John and Everley Brothers songs ... I don't like it, but alright, I'll play along ...

But some tippetty, tappetty fish eating f'ker that apparently has emotions in his feet?? Line has been drawn people ...

Suffice to say the tv has been turned off, the kids told to say 3 Hail Mary's to ensure that sort of thing is never allowed by God, then get straight to bed, and in general, I'm feeling rather proud of my parenting skills ...

Sooooooo ... anyone think they're up to matching my morals this evening????
