Attachment 36444break on my now lower arms. Bought a new tie rod and some rear disconnects too
Nothing yet, but the 4wd and adventure show today will sure change that :)
yep will be there sunday with my cash!!!
@ George what tyre/rim combo do you have, I
know you run 285s, but what size rims and what
pressures were you running to dent 2 rims , has to be a
logical reason ???
@ Lucas I asked him the other day when he came over what was his driving style [TOO QUICK]
But said drives as slow as possible unless momentum is required.,
trying not to break traction.
Has to be something wrong 2 rims ,only had them a few weeks
@ Benny, get stuffed!
Nah Nah Na NAH na lol
Ordered my muddies going with Mickey "T" MTZs 305s again
Good run last time, why change
Was a pretty good day at the 4wd show.
Didn't pick up to much.
Got a good deal on a foxwing awning with a free extension/ wind break.
Got a black widow wheel bag and an arb cooler :)
Now just gotta get some roof bar to connect the awning to.
:cheers:I fitted my second hand Black Widow drawers, Cargo Barrier and Divider. Nice... Now to fill them with "interesting stuff...
Cut 2 big snotty areas of rust outta the floor and welded in patches. Woulda done the rest but ran out of dremel discs
Here ya go TPC...... Also on ""My Rig"...
Picked up two heavy duty black rhino bars today.
Also installed my new Foxwing awning. Still to open it up tho. Lol

And also put a little bracket in to bring that brake bracket delay on the rear diff back to a more natural shape.

Replaced my vacuum lines from the alternator back and it's made a big difference to the braking of the ute. Must have been perished for a while and when I swapped out to the new alternator the vac line wasn't long enough. Feels great now
Hacked up the factory bar a bit more and welded bits n bobs back on and ended up with a slightly uneven tube bar ;) still need to gusset it but ran outta material

@ Growler looking good ,what about some loops so you can weave your straps or winch cable on,
Prior to tackling the tracks
Fitted up me roof rack for a trip up the Cape. About to put the bush boots on and the A/T's in the shed. Packing the boat now...
Really. Looks a huge gap between bar and grill.
Would I lie to you??

That's one savage chop job there
Yea nuts.
Soooo.... When is the winch going in??
Well went to the 4x4 show and spent too much, started out with a relatively cheap heavy duty camp chair and ended with a 150 watt solar panel with dc to dc charger and the wiring kit which I will be mounting on the roof the same as the redarc 4b with a frame and catch with boot struts to pop it up on angle when camping, also got a long range sub tank and got a free ticket in the draw to win one of those queer brand hilux with every conceivable accessory known to man, if I Win I should be able to sell it and buy an ex telstra 4.2 ute! When I get the frame made and the solar setup on the roof I will put up some pictures. To top of the day I bought a new swag that has a fly cover that can be setup as an awning, will get that out of the wrapping and get some pics of that too when I can. All I know is it was expensive and the accountant will hate me :)
And none of it was my fault either, so my conscience is clear lol
Took it down the beach to test the new awning
http://i1222.photobucket.com/albums/...T/DSC_0885.jpg
And took me dog down to the beach for the first time.
P.s I don't know who owns that lady cruiser, it just pulled up and wouldn't leave. Lol
Trying to steal your shade mate!
What beach were you at mate? The awning looks the goods plenty of shade.
How did you go getting on the beach I thought it was all barricaded off
Nothing stops my patrol. Lol
It gets closed off then a new track opens it up few days later.
It's a never ending cycle.
Me and my mate got caught coming out of there one night by the rocko ranger. Mate got a fine for driving in there don't think he ever paid it and bugger all happened. Don't know why they bother closing it off
I havent been caught yet. Haven't been a lot but will be going a lot more now that me dog but to good health.
I don't get why they close it either really. It's only to do with the nature reserve, so they should just open the gate at the end back up so we don't have to go through the nature reserve.
But it keeps it a quite area for the few that know how to get there.
So it's a win really. Lol
Just a rack I built for a local blokes au Ute this year.

Simple shs sides and angle centers for the panel to sit in.
Found these simple tailgate hinges, and set it up that when the panel is down or up the panel is secure between the shs, nut when the struts are removed and panel at 90degrees it can be slid out to place elsewhere.
Gas struts are 90nM kitchen ones, $16 a pair I think..
Good little project..
