Very noice, interesting colour on the scales
I think its dyed camel bone , I like bone scales and buff would be my favourites.
more an oldtime look.
Did you see the size of that folder
Next time you're free click on Gil hibben knives and
check his 911 with fossil walrus scales
Not for sale made from trade centre steel
trying to get the brass spine for my GH Alamo bowie
Those Gil Hibben Alamo bowies are worth $1550 US.
needs more research as some have brass pommel and others are gold plated.

This tanto on another shop says its double edged, IYO would it pass customs
@ 3D... I wouldn't see the tanto as a double-edged weapon. Although the top edge tapers up to the back edge, I don't believe that it is sharpened so would love to see how Customs could justify it. If the top edge had been sharpened it may be a different story but I would have thought that the edge would have had to have gone on for a percentage of the blade.
Having said that, I would also say that it depends on the day, the customs officer and their mood.
yeah ok sick of losing stuff to customs. I've found another tanto diving knife with the molle style sheath
I'm starting to take up diving again, so this will suit as a dual purpose

did you check the size of that TR folder? 450mm
don't want to take the chance with an $80 knife
That was a big ar$ed folder. Touchwood I should have my Cold Steel mini tac tomorrow and a CRKT tanto next week
I'm starting to like the tanto blade now, as a tactical knife not so the Japanese style
and easy enough to put another edge on it, for diving perfect for removing abalone
Never been a big tanto fan until I saw HL's. More of a "point" fan myself.
Going to order some blanks next week that are about 5 inches in total length, great size for survival belt pouches
heres what I've found thinking glued and laced up would give a reasonable sheath
