The o2 sensor is new but a cheap one off ebay and does fluctuate but spends most of its time at .9v
The car drives beautiful Andrew but the fuel gauge is moving so quick... this tank I am now in the last quarter of a tank and I have only done about 250km .

You poor bugger man, I hope you get this sorted soon. Have you thought of doing what i did and just buying a banger to get around in and tow the trailer, the repayments on it are only $65/week. Which by the sounds of it would be a lot cheaper than the fuel bill.

What temp does your engine usually run at BA? It says 78 in the pic you posted which is fairly cool. A cold engine will use more fuel. Should have an 82 degree c thermostat. Diesels run a 76 degree c thermostat.
Have you ever pulled apart the aac or what ever it's called off the back of the plenum and given it a clean? I'm not 100% on what it does, but it does play a part in changing the airflow within the engine and also changing the idle speed when you turn the ac on. They do get gummed up which will effect its operation. There's a valve or 2 on springs that can go stiff and not slide properly if dirty. Carb cleaner and brush for the win.

36 psi is no good. If your pump is new then the next thing would be the regulator. Sometimes you can tell if the regulator is u/s by removing the vacuum line while the engine is running. If fuel comes out, it's bad. Sometimes it can take 5 mins of running before fuel will come out. But this isn't always the case with a bad regulator, it just could be one of the symptoms.
