I've done 4wding with my parents when I was a kid but haven't done it in years cause we haven't had a 4wd... I went out with my uncle a few months ago along the Border Track, got me hooked!
Don't have many action shots but hopefully there'll be heaps to come! :P

Great pics. Thanks for sharing
Some awsome pics in that lot, absoulutely love the look of that place, excuse my ignorance and laziness to google atm, but where is butcher country and McCallisters river ???
Love it
Great country especially like the bare trees it the fog.
Haven`t made that part of our great land but it`s now in the black book
Draw a line directly north of Licola about 25-30km's, that's Butcher Country. Maps for the area show exactly where the track runs, river runs southerly in the same area. Some good tracks, and nice scenery all through the area.

Beaut pic, i can see why its ur fitness track.
Fracster, great photo & a great reminder of why we left the UK! (Although we do still usually get a small sprinkling of the white stuff where we live now each winter). Nice drystone walls. I'm guessing you might be somewhere in the Peak District?
93patrol, we didn't fish but enjoyed Windy Harbour even though it was windy! Are you one of the folk lucky enough to have one of the 'shacks' down there? (more from our time in the area here)
Kallen, we haven't been to Mt Gambier, but it looks like we'll need to include it in our future travels. Your photo reminds me of a cross between the Atherton Tablelands lakes & Big Brook Dam near Pemberton WA but with blue-er(?sp) water.
Thanks for posting all, I both like looking at your pics as well as seeing what different folk choose to photograph.
Cuppa
Great photos guys shows the stark differences in our wonderful country. Also it`s great to see the sort of country we could enjoy if one is lucky enough to travel overseas.
Some Pics of the High Country
Have Posted some of these before
It is a wonderful place and the scenery is very nice. My pic is of the blue lake with the old pumping station below.
Believe it or not seeing this shot was at around 9 am the lake does get brighter. It turns nearly aqua on a sunny day.
This is a shot of our wedding day. Behind the fine studs is the same lake. Not photoshoped...

Unfortunately cuppa I don't have a shack wish I did though. We camped in the camp ground. We did have a shack in wedge island when I was a kid but my parents sold it when we moved down south
Just tap it in just tappy tappy tappy
Nice photo's, although reminds of the days I was stuck on one of those Navy ship's, contemplating diving overboard and swimming for the nearest town and a cold beer!!!
Heres the Barmah state forrest in flood Vic Side.
Janderson may like this one.
Drove through this for 2 hours then did "U" turn and come home
See my mate in the pic???
