Love the wagon mate, Dunno if i missed it but what sized fuel tank do you have?
With a setup like this id imagine you would want to hold alot of fuel due to the economy it will have.
Also with a blown ls1 how do you think it will go for daily duties and reliability?

not a great deal has changed, booked in for gloss black paint in 3 weeks (been waiting 6weeks for my paint to arrive from the states), ive been trying to upload a video to give you an idea of how she drives. im running the standard 88ltr tank, and how she goes for a daily, well, it is my daily. i currently get about 540k's to the tank, providing im not driving like an idiot the whole time, which is 70% highway, 30% urban. the tb42 that was pulled out would touch about 450k's per tank with the same highway:urban percentages. It all comes down to good tuning, and blown engine tend to use less fuel when cruising.
there has been alot of fine tuning still, found the nolethane vx commodore sway bar link kits bolt straight in, which happen to be 75mm longer than the originals, which is just about perfect as i have a 66mm spring lift.
oh, and greengu, im under the impression you have never driven a decent built V8, if you saw my torque curve...... never mind, you wouldn't understand

In June 2014 I pulled the motor from the Patrol, and swapped it with my 245kw 04' VY SS Wagon. The motor was great in the Patrol but just had a little too much bottom end punch which would result in digging holes and made it nearly impossible to rock climb without spinning all 4. I put a lot of focus onto the wagon after the swap, spent a fortune on the transmission to handle all the grunt, spent a fortune on the entire car.

In Sept 2014 the long hours I had spent opening my own shop had taken it's toll and for the first time in my life I fell asleep at the wheel.

The accident had busted me up pretty bad, and soo long to my charged motor. But... I still have my 245kw motor, so I'm toying with the Patrol again.. To add to the list, I have replaced the fuel system (went into the wagon, was overkill even for the charged motor) and now running a Walbro 255l/h intank pump, goodyear EFI rubber lines, adj. fuel pressure reg. I'm still running the Pacemaker headers, and 3.5" mandrel bent system, combined with a mafless tune should see about 350bhp at the motor.
Putting more money into the Patrol was never really a plan, I was considering on just buying a GU3 onwards, but couldn't justify buying someone else problems, when I had this one sitting here.
I forked out the $700 and bought a set of Grunt 4x4 Monster flares which arrived today, and I have to say I'm rather impressed by them. On the agenda is a full gloss grey respray to coincide with my businesses colour scheme, a new "fabricated inhouse" custom rear tube bar, new electric aerial which also arrived today, air conditioning is on its way (currently there is none), 35% window tint, a new roof lining, I have a set on mint condition velour front and rear seats coming, I have a set of new wing mirrors to go on, a set of genuine glass H4 headlights on the way, and I have replaced the rear main seal and sump gasket today also.
My business is taking priority of all my funds so as much as I would like a Rigid Industries light bar, it may have to wait a few months. I'll get some more photos with the flares and a bit of a progress report at the end of the week
