Woohoo! Finally finished clearing the place of all the scrap metal which seemed to have bred on the place over the past 18 years. Cleaning up for the new owners has been a major task.
Filled the biggest skip I could get (30 cubic metres) with scrap metal & old wire. Barbed wire is an absolute bastard..... all by hand except for the old engine block from the bus which a neighbour lifted in with his tractor/front end loader for me. Huge relief to have it done. Was quite impressed that the skip was free & that they’ll pay me for the scrap metal!

G'day AB,
What is it with both you and BloodyAussie, firstly, Sir Johnathon, when he stated on his build thread “I am buggered!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)” And now you when you state; “I'm rooted,” i am seriously thinking to myself, a session of buggery going on behind the scenes and you two lousy buggers did not even think to invite Threedogs! Lol
PS, and that’s what has made me happy today. lol

My first cricket match back at the club in 6 years. Stunning day in Melbourne today to play and I snagged 3/22 and hit the winning runs. Jezzzuzzz I am sore though.
Spent a awesome boys only weekend at cruiser park first time there and had a blast. And now I have a tailshaft squeal.
Some poor fella rolled multiple times down telecom hill and left his car at the foot over night and came back in the morning to find it stripped and pushed into a ditch.. One way to kick a man when he's down!
I found a lovely track which is moderately difficult now and when wit yet hits it will turn into a clay filled slip and slide assault with muddy mud puddles to boot. And some pretty serious hill climbs for added bonusAttachment 40969just one of the hills Attachment 40970and the left overs of a summertime mud puddle
Was a great day out with Fry
The full length movie Llewellyn Unlikely was premiered in Portland this weekend and it was excellent. The film was shot locally, and was edited over a couple of years, (I was part of the crew for a few weeks). It is a story about how two teenagers cope with bullying at school and online. It was written, filmed and directed by a mate of mine, a school teacher. All of the actors and most of the crew were volunteers. It has a bit of a christian theme to it but If you have kids or teenagers, I would recommend getting them to see it if you can.
I'm a Grand Dad, again, yeeeehaa!!

Had to laugh when a telemarketer rang. Before she started her rehearsed lines, I butted in and asked her for the full name of the company she was calling for. After getting the details she asked why I needed them to be so precise. I replied that since it was the second time they had called (bulldust) that I was forwarding their details to the Communications Ombudsman as this number is on the No Call Register. The lass was very flustered and said, "Very sorry, Sir, I am now taking all your details from our data bank. Sorry, Sir, we won't call again." I wonder how long it will last...
The DNC register has worked well for us. It now those pesky door knockers that cant read signs politely telling them to eff off.
be like me dont answer the phone or the door as anyone that wants me and knows me has my mobile number the rest can feck off.
