Started it, drove it out of the shed, drove it back in the shed. The end.
Fitted this little ARE Beauty ..... before my standard intercooler let go altogether - it was just weeping in two corners a small amount.

I stuck with the Standard Scoop at this stage.
So far I am really impressed, and don't feel the need for a Fan or the bigger scoop, but time will tell, especially once the weather warms up, or I actually get out in the bush and put it in Low Range. It really seems to have flattened out the power curve, with best results from down low in the rev range ( which is what you want ).
The best thing is you can do it in stages as it doesn't matter.
Don't bother with the ARE scoop. I mean they are good but at the massive price tag you are better off buying a Fairline scoop like the one I have, and what Hodge just bought and fit that. I paid $365 for the fairline scoop and sold my ARE scoop, which was under half the size for $300. Paid $550 for it.
