Looked like a very nice bush hideaway spot.
Buying property is very stressful and make shore you (do not celebrate) or even think you will get it in till you have paid.
You must do as above to help reduce damage, but it is always painful.
Yes that type of auction is the most painful,you should just keep looking and offer as many as you can and daunt be afraid to ask for a small bit from larger plots they may be able to split some of for you.
Some times there's a bidder who just wants it no mater the price.
Maybe you should be glad you didn't get it Andy, who knows how much the winner paid.
