Attachment 51395 bought some ARB led lights from the manufacturer, they are not branded as ARB but LED $237us to the door for the pair
my understanding was they are the cree the same as arb use and arb are trying to stop the sale of them as usual, not sure but they are very good according to a couple of other blokes that have them too and have had them for some time without any problems, for the price im happy.
Not saying the quality isn't good but they are most definitely not the same as the ARB ones. They might be a good copy but the two are made half a world apart.
More than likely a copy of the Lightforce ones, which are made in China and around which there has been much controversy due to them being almost identical to the ARB ones but released nearly 2 years apart!

And as a footnote, if I'd spent the R&D $$ on designing a particular product and some mongrel copied it and put it on sale, I would also fight tooth and nail to have it removed from sale.
Stealing someone's IP is no different to stealing your Patrol and should be viewed the same way, yet for some reason we don't.....

The leds may be the same but if the reflector is crap the light output will also be crap.. In saying that I have the Copy of the ARB lights in the 185w versions and I find them awesome
I hate ppl that copy any product, with a passion, but if the licence ran out like on the Tirfor winch I have no problems
Cree is a brand of LED and found in heaps of lights and torches etc
If the reflector is not up to scratch like Fletch says it would be sub standard.
time will tell. LED driving lights are ok for bush roads but they will never out do a decent set of HIDs on outback roads at night IMO
