I forgot I also ordered some Autotechnica bucket seats and uni brackets for the front of the troll, $650 for the pair and brackets, just waiting for them to be delivered and find someone to install them
Got under the hood and checked all hoses, cleaned up battery terminals and clamps. Re-ran a air hose extension from the compressor to the bullbar.
Also ripped out my MAF and my jaw dropped. How one this dirty can actually still let a car run is surprising. Hopefully a new one will sort my power issues out.
This photo is after a cleanup with MAF cleaner.

New tint. And top seal in injector pump. Plus rego inspection. Spend spend spend :(
dropped the patrol off to the auto sparky whos doin a swap with me for some bits :) wiring the reverse work lights, seperating the hid's and light bar and getting the awning light reconnected, pick it up tomorrow and get ready for 5 days on the holland track.
Ripped the dash half apart, ran some cabling for the UHF and the GPS antenna to the top of the dash. Also went and grabbed a new MAF from mudski, which I'll slot in tomorrow morning and see how she goes then.
Got a message from mike, hes lifted the wheels off the ground to do some work and noticed my front wheel bearings look shot. Auto masters did them not long ago so hoping they just need to be tightened
Ordered a new fan.. More efficient they say... We'll see..
@ Kallen what style fan you getting ???
put a tad more boost in it,
something is happening and I can't put my finger on it.
Organised with a shop to replace a stuffed wheel stud.
@ hodge noticed a few put the GPS antenna on top of Snorkel,
mine is on top of dash and works fine
Replaced the rear bumper brake lights with 50w Cree smds. They did have the 120smd lights in them, and they were good. But these are sensational! Don't have a before pic, but the light at the top is still using the 120smd unit, the bottom ones are 50w Crees.

Dropped in a new MAF and finger's crossed sorts my intermittent power issues. Big thanks to mudski for supplying the MAF! No frills service from the bloke.
Giving it a heart attack, not knowing if its winch will fit on it.
plugged in the new Ultragauge, now to learn WTF it does lol
Tried to start it! Won't start, Shaun angry at patrol now.
Drove it on the bitumen - again. lol
Top seal on injector pump. Not sure if me, but seems to be going better too after having all the resets in pump done. Well that was really Monday but thought I would let you know what's happening up here. Back in the dust at Gunbalanya. :)

Hey OD, I'd be interested to hear how it goes. I've got a Blatz cable and Nissan DataScanII for mine, but it's a bit cumersome with having to run it on the laptop. I noticed yesterday that Tom from Nissan Datascan maybe developing a Android/Iphone mobile version of NDSII. Here's hoping.
Cheers,
Darren
Replaced the wrecked wheel stud, and took a bit of play out of bearing, and changed oil filter
as the old "O" ring I think has been in for a while. so topped up with oil,
now just waiting if oils stops pretty confident.
Spied these shame they are going on a V8 diesel Tojo ute, what a waste
I got board due to no spare parts... Lol

As you see the mass mud entry below the boot seals.. My guess is a dodge install some many year ago when rats ate their way in and the boots needed replacing... Would explain the musky smell its always got...
Currently removing rear seats to pull middle section if carpet..
While Its up I'm going to do some wiring.. Running New speaker wires to middle doors, a cig socket to rear of console for portable DVD players for the kids, clean the lot and treat any rust.
Clean the carpets, money depending will add sound deadening.
Also in 2 minds weather to add the center console cup holders or install this

Into one of the front din spots as I intend on moving the CD player to the nit yet built roof console...
Also thinking of replacing the gear stick yolks while I have good access...
Money.. Phft. Who needs it.. :o
Well I'm glad I took the rear out.. More dust, and the body has cracked out around the front of the seat clip points...
So will repair that aswell..

Cleaned and picked all the bugs out of the K&N airfilter and re-oiled it. Then bought a spare fuel filter, oil filter, serpentine belt and radiator hoses, plus a couple of those Unifilter snorkel head thingos for the dust.... I'll be interested to see if there is much difference in using one of those. The oiled air-filters are a pain in the ass in heavy dust.
Un packed after a few nights up the Murray with Bob and Roofy
Have fun? Catch much??
I've had a productive day...

Looking good westy. Looking a lot cleaner than before.
I'm very surprised there was no rust... This could had happened up to 15years ago... Lol
The rear was just as bad where one of the grommets had come out and let everything in.. Will also be putting grommets in the original side step bolt holes..
Good work Kallen gotta be happy with the end result.
More sitting around a fire than fishing, no action
Rebuilt swivel hubs, installed new axles seals and now just waiting to get my diff centres back with the brand 4.6 gears installed!
put some 350w Sony 4 way speakers in the front yesterday and got some 300w Visions to put in the back on the weekend, starting to sound better caompared to the factory 40w jobbies
