Well not alot has happend to the old 4b lately little low on funds n lack of time dont help.
Bad new motor in it is well on its way to be dead very soon going away over easter for 6/7 days so im exspectiong to come home on flat bed truck
good news i already have new motor ready to go in will couple power upgrades.

Well finally got sick of my main battery going dead from running Fridge n Stereo out on trips.
So finally installed a dual battery system inside my car ready to have Fridge Car PC n all my lights n AUX plugs hooked up to it.

Tough rig. Not a fan of those projecta dual battery systems personally though. What gauge wiring did you use?
Fill smurf up for easter trip both tanks empty is close to 180lts
So you do the math n work out what it would of cost if i had fill both up empty

Well did atrip to Walhalla and Macalister Gorge for Easter 2012 from Fri-Tues
Started looking for places to camp at O'tooles and onwards passed Goonans hut and landed at Store point. The whole area was loaded full of people with most struggling to find a good camp site.
We did a few day trips to white star mine, mt selma, mt useful, army tk to deep creek tk's etc.
Monday we decided to shift camp to Macalister Gorge and where fortunate enough to get the well built hut by "WHERETHEFU#KAREWE4X4" and enjoyed it's facilities and surroundings.

Well after the 6 days i spent away for easter i noticed my motor was slowly drying lack of power using lots of oil n getting hot n becoming very hard to start.
So picked up a new motor thats rebuilt all but the block as it seemed to be in good order.
So today out come the old motor

And tomorrow ill be spending it cleaning up the engine bay of rust unused wiring waiting for my flywheel to retune as its getting machined.
The new motor will have the following added to it
Rebuilt Dizzy with Ice Ignition
Rebuilt Carby
3 core Ally Radiator
Twin Alternators.

Also bought new Max Shafts Axles n CVs to rebuild my hubs as both CVs are clicking n hubs leaking oil

Well new motor is in and running (kinda)
I ending up f**king pertronix kit so had to though points back in till i can get new pertronix kit or Ice ignition kit next week.
Radiator is ye to show up so mine is back in for the time been.
Other then those to things it runs well cant wait to get it tuned up n running even better.

nice, this is something i really need to do to mine soon before i ruin the front end. Last trip saw me sitting the guards up against the mud bank twice and one smashed indicator and bent alloy bar.
Are ya gunna get it dynod would be good to see what numbers the fresh donk pulls
What tube Are you using when knocking up your bar work? O.d., wall thickness etc.
Thinking of knocking up some sliders and a rear bar but not sure of what to use and what will hold up with a cars weight on it.

The trip involved Sheepyard > Pikes > Bluff > King Billy > Bindaree > Kings Hut > Razorback Hut etc we did one big loop around mt buller and not entirely by choice lots of trees down.

Well gave my old draws a make over
By addeding side cubbeds on each side one for recovery gear one for spears ect ect
Then put Carpet over them come up ok for someone that cant carpet for crap lol
Mounted new LED Mag light down back for using in back Shover holders for shove n bolted a tool box to draws to hole all me tools.
