Simply Amazing, if you can make a van look good you must be good. Thank's for sharing, keep up the great work.
Went to Nudgee Beach today, not much of a beach compared to what im used to :frown:

http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j3..._9906Large.jpg
I thought a beach had sand......waves and naked women.......
For once Steve I must say I'm not overly impressed by you photography skills on those pictures *LMAO*
Ha-ha, on ya Todd, maybe i need to learn some photoshop skills, then i can just insert some killer waves and white pointers everywhere for ya ! (he-he)
It was actually sand BTW, (but looked more like mud), nice enough place, but yeh i agree, the "beach" in the title is getting a little to creative me finks ;), alas, the Ford Focus ive borrowed from work, probly would't get to far up any decent Beach anyway, how i do miss my Patrol
Great photos, great photography, great work.
Well done, can't wait to see more.
At that beach you are more likely to meet dogs and their humans, and the occasional racehorse being trained. All the good stuff you talk of Todd, is on the Eastern side of Moreton Island, the other side of Moreton Bay. Even the Western beaches of Moreton can include the features you speak of, including the waves.
Tonights Moon.........:eck05:

awesome pic there is that using a telescope or telephoto lens on you camera ?
Leaving to one side 04OFF's skills in taking the picture, its ama2ing how science has advanced in the last few hundred years. Not only can we buy the tools to take such a photo of a distant subject, but then we can share it around the world with a few clicks of the mouse........
Nice photo, Steve!
They are nice pics must be a god camera to make ole nudgee beach look good lol
Love it mate. love it!!!
Seriously though.. Are those pics straight off the camera or have they been run thru fotoshop even just a little bit?
Seriously, the first one was slightly trimmed/cropped/cut or whatever you wanna call it, just a small amount was from removed from the top and bottom of the image (this is normally as much as i do), sometimes its "cut off" to remove something i dont want in the picture, or to enlarge a object of intrest such as a car etc, but more often than not, its to just make the pic more pleasing to "my eye", i only use the basic software that came standard with the camera for this, and no, not even a little bit in Photoshop.
I do have a version of Photoshop, but i found it too hard to use, because im to lazy to spend hours learning it, or too stupid (or both), only twice have i used it on any of my pics, my "Rig Shot" image and one other pic on my wall, both was to remove a unwanted item/s, not to change the pic. (and that took hours of Googleing, lol), apart from that, i have only ever used the standard camera software to make small changes (mostly cropping if any) all other image influences are camera settings and filters/ lenses/operator, etc all done in real time as i shoot.
My goal is/was always to learn how to take good pics with the camera on location, not use the PC to "fix" em at home later, as thats never been "my" idea of "Photography"
So anyway, to actually answer your question Tonka, No Photoshop was used at all, apart from trimming the first pic, no computer changes were made, no colour saturation, contrast, brightness, trickery etc, etc, no modification in anything at all, 100% as they were dumped from the camera , then reduced in size and uploaded to Photobucket (this looses a fair bit of quality too), then simply posted for your enjoyment (or so you can hate me just a lttle more, ha-ha) :smiley_thumbs_up:
Bastard :)
Was awake early this morning, so blew the dust off the camera, and headed off into the Sunrise (lol)

Where was the last pic taken???, and may I ask why there looks 2 be a shadow of a bar in the pic, that's just not professional like Steve *LMAO*
I'm glad you don't have time do it full time, if you did you might of come across all the calenders that I print up using your photo's and sell them as my own *LMAO*
Is it just me or is that last bird a little ugly
Yes good work Todd, it is a shadow from a metal fence post/bar, not much thought into that shot im afraid, I quickly stopped the car outside the yard where this beast was on display, so im sitting in the drivers seat, camera pointed looking through the passenger window, shooting paparazzi style, outside the property at a distance of about 20M, just if only Tom Cruise could have been right next to it, id be rich by now :hpfredgeorge1:(lol)
Sooooooo, wheres "my" copy of your Calander then ??? (ha-ha)
Just you i think ..........:hpfredgeorge1: bwwahhaaa !
Coooooool !, OK, ive sent the requested deposit to spoof payment @ toddsshonkeyscam.com, it said if i gave my bank acc details, i can go in the draw for the free PC upgrade........sounds legit to me !
So any time now, i expect ill be able to see all the pics you took, that look like the ones i have then ?
:harhar:
*LMAO* Don't expect 2 much Steve, you can always just look back 2 this thread for photo's you have taken, while I'm sitting back on a deserted island somewhere drinking bourbons and beers :):):) But don't worry Steve with your money I'll buy you a GQ, so you will no longer have 2 worry about fixing up that GU of yours *LMAO*
How's that going anyway, any more updates? How long before being back on road?
Well if a GQ is free ill take it (ha-ha)
Paint has been ordered, i heard them say its something like the words.... "ice pearl" and "xirallic", and from the explination they gave me, it will be white , but in the sun, you will see a subtle "sparkly" effect on the edges.
It should be painted by this weekend if all goes to plan, ill post some pics in my "rolled" thread as soon as i have any.
that is magical mate! really nice photography!
Went out to watch the RC cars with my son again, he's pretty keen to get one now....
