So bloody close but no cigar!!!
I want the ic as much as possible behind the grill regardless of what bar goes on.
Took off thermo and support rail, relocated horn, moved ac piping, that piping was easy to relocate.
Pushed the condenser back and I am about 210mm now...10mm off this bloody highmount fitting on the bar.
Had to re do the piping on the cold side because its so far back now so next week ill mount the ic again and have a look.
So close!!!
To clear up the situation with Andy's winch bar, his is the factory Nissan winch bar for a GQ, made by ARB.
It is different to the ARB winch bar variants, one of which was designed to be able to take a high mount, the other only a low mount.

Remember AB 220mm is the measurement but you really need a little bit of clearance mate

Moved it all back and it's all finally mounted. I hope this never has to come off ever again, I might have to write a manual on how it goes together with the amount of tweaking needed to fit this!

I managed to get 205mm overall from the ic to behind the plate.
Much neater pushed back now, flush behind bonnet.
Cut grille, paint grille, brackets and ic....job done!
Easy done and a perfect fit!!!
Spray it all up, put some mesh on over the grille cut out, nissan badge back on....sweet!!!

I had a look at it all yesterday and it has come up a treat... surprising for something AB made..ha ha ha.
It will be the test this weekend as he is towing his camper trailer for an overnighter without us!!!
Looks good AB, it all came together bloody well. Funny how some jobs work out perfect once you get stuck into it and you take your time.
It was worth pushing it back keeping it all tight- looks the goods!!
