Hectic mate I got dragged for ages snapped a few snatch straps I reckon I did a good job lol only had one wheel working the whole day diffs a stuffed awesome track tho
That was a top track....
One wheel....damn. You'll have rebuilt that bad-boy soon enough!
Wife and kids had a good day too.....
Does anyone know how to upload videos?
Do I have to upload them to YouTube and link to here or something like that?
Tip tip tip......tap tap tap....
You can load them on here directly if there small vids but YouTube it will be easier glad ya had a good day and smart move not coming up that last track mate
Just in case you care we just got home......... bloody buggered!!
Spent the day rescuing Healy........ then he left me there all by myself???
Okay, not long in, have washed dust from places where nobody should have to wash dust from. Nice to meet everyone I hadn't already met and good to see everyone else again :-)
Notable shoutouts to big Peter(if I'm calling someone big you know they're a monster) and his bosslike driving up those rocks blazing the trail, Healys 150kg right foot and his amazing on the fly weight reduction capabilities, Andrew for the wee tow and Roofy for being an all around nice bloke(thanks for the cuppa).
Props to Johnny for flying the GQ flag after Andrew and myself decided that we liked our sills more than we liked smashing them to bits, lol.
What tracks did you end up doing?
Sounds like it was an epic day ppl. What have you done to that poor gu now Healy, by the sounds of it you need a tank. Might end up costing you less.
Wyld, To be perfectly honest I have no clue mate, I was in the caboose:-)
Also, think we once again established the fact that the Tigerz 12000lb winch is not "cheap" it is merely inexpensive:-)
Kev, Healy is just doing a ground up rebuild, one track at a time :-p
I had a great day couldnt be better ,i wanted to do that last track
but i wanted my side steps and sills as well, now if i had sliders not
a problem maybe next time
thanks guys and girls
Yep, sliders just got bumped up past "getting the espresso machine working" on my 4wd to do list. For anyone who knows how much I like/need/love coffee, thats a big jump!
Photos vids????
We did a few under the power lines and then:
Little Bunyip, Blue Range, Andersons, Western, Gentle Annie, Tea Tree.
I then suggested to finish a loop of Bullock Link, Robertson Creek and then down Rocky tk and that was where it got a bit ugly.....
Famous last words "we'll just do these last couple" LOL. We'd been bloody joking about it earlier.....

I've got some photos and vids I'll upload but need to wash the grit off first.....
Can I say it again....great day and great people!
And man, those power line tracks would be something else in the wet....phaaaaaarkkk!
Tip tip tip......tap tap tap....
I don't think I'd have been able to do those tracks in the wet, the bunny wagon would, but I reckon they'd be way over my skill level.
Wow we did robertsons, bullock and rocky a coupple of weeks ago and even my mate in a stock 80 series got threw no dramas... was it damp?? Were did u guys get stuck

Look at that handsome beast of a man...
I got through the day unscathed then when I had to start helping Healy bits started falling off everywhere............ I like stock flares and I dont want to replace them but at this rate I am going to have to invest in a set of bunnings specials???
Have not looked at my on board camera yet as I am stuffed but will tomorrow to see if there is anything good on it??
I bailed with Roofy and Irish at the first of those big ledges on Bullock Link after watching Peter and Healy smash their sliders and steps respectively in a couple of places.....currently I have zero sill protection and the thought of heading home with bashed sill panels didn't excite me......as Irish has said I think it's just bumped sliders right up the list of mods.
I can't comment on what happened to Peter, Healy and BA after that but I'm looking forward to hearing what went down....

You dont think, if you think your dead.... well thats one hell of a gamble with 50 million dollars worth of aircraft Mav.....
You can be my wingman any time Maverick....
Bugger looks like a great day!!!
