Love what you've done..seems to be a common thread about low garages/carports!! I've got my two projects in my garage and can't friggen get them out. All the stuff I've taken off them has lightened them causing the height to rise. In a bit of a quandary as need the parts off so I can lift the body off. Can't lift the body off unless all the parts are on! Doesn't help I've got not a clue of what I'm doing LOL

Cheers mate,
I have all the timber I need to raise the carport about 150mm, just need a spare day to do it
Got a Tigerz 12000 pound winch coming in next few months, when they get back in stock. If I can get the winch on, then raise the carport...I can work out if a lift is achievable in the end
Little bit like "Robbo's 5 Year Plan"....hopefully achievable in the end, but no great rush.

Now that's an idea.. gives me a reason to buy a winch so that I can use a winch to give the garage a 5inch lift so I can give the MQ a 2inch lift..you're a genius robbo!! Just ignore any PMs from me as they'd be from my not so happy better half for giving me these ideas LOL

Been out a few times to Glasshouse with some mates over last few weeks, been bogged, nearly saw a Cruiser ute flip...had a few recoveries! Kids had fun...bit sick of using half a tank to get the clay off, but definately looking forward to getting a winch off Tigerz in next few weeks.
I created an album, but dunno if I have done it right...I am not "brand specific"....All my mates have different vehicles, we just have try and have some fun, before the kids get tired and I have to head home.

Nothing wrong with that Dave, did the same thing when I found my son getting into my Redbull. Son had the same "wired" look..yes I know, bad pun but couldn't help myself

Gday,
had a good week at work and got some stuff done on the Troll (boss was away:biggrin:)
Full service, all driveline oils and diffs done...finally.
Made up a "splash"plate to go from the ARB bar to the chassis. I will say splash plate because its only made of 2.5mm ali.
I just want to divert some mud, sticks etc away from the radiator and condensor when offroad.
Held on with 5 self tappers on bullbar and 2 at rear on chassis rail, slotted so I still have access to the recovery points at the front. Please excuse the photos off my mobile.
Edit...photos are
1. original gap between bullbar and chassis
2. the plate I bodgied and slotted and
3. the plate fitted.

Pretty light and should do thejob.....no change in coolant temps as yet, as displyed by EcuTalk.
Cheers

Gday,
a bit late from the install but purchasd and fitted a 12000 pound "Grande" winch from Tigerz11 with plasma a few weeks ago.
Nice easy install, slotted in no worries.
Can also add that it works well so far, pulled the car off a massive fallen tree up at Glasshouse last weekend, and also helped a mate out in a VERY off-camber Colorado.
Just used some light Ali chequer to fill in the gap in the top of the bullbar.
Added to the splashplate underneath the bullbar , I was very happy with the reduced amount of mud and crud, that makes it way to the condensor and radiator now.

Hopefully some 2" flexicoils and Suspension Stuff shocks going on soon....getting sick of the 40mm drop across the car, and need some more flex.
It will still fit under our house (without the roofracks).....provided I actually DO know how to use a tape measure;)
Looking forward to getting the lift squared away.
Cheers
