Thanks guys yeah I love making all my own gear the next big job is building rock sliders and a bolt on exo cage I've also been modifying a set of panhard rods there almost finished I'll try and post up some pics this week
here are a few pics of the panhard rods ive been modifyng ive done one end of each rod so far the rear i cut in half and sliped it in to a heaver wall pipe and pluged welded it every 100mm.
the front has been done the same bit i used 24mm round bar so it allmost a solid bar
also been looking at a auto lokka for the front of the shorty there cheap 380 deliverd
finished tig welding up the panhards and had the new bushes pressed in. so shortys back on the road (for now) hopfuly take it for abit of a play on the weekend.
just brought a new mig so rock sliders are next on the to do list and gunna make a new exhaust then rear bar and removable exo cage also putting in a auto lokka in the front.
also got a price on a xlink and it sounds good so maybe before the years over it will have one
and heres a few pics of a set of rocksliders i nocked up for a mates gu.
and picked up some 40x40x5 shs to make my lower control arms will post up more pics when i get started

Haven't done much lately we went bush on Anzac day and it has started to stall and turn off but only sometimes and the tacho was bouncing between 1500 and 2000 rpm on the freeway on the run home so thinking I have abit of a electric gremlin.
Iam going to buy a petronix kit but not sure if I should get the lobe sensing or the other kind were u have to machine the shaft I've heard this one is a lot beta anyone got any recomendations
