for the base of the fire Ive used a 100mm SS disc that will protect the alloy
a tad.

spied this one on ebay could be made for less than
$20, you could get abit stylish with it but the idea is there
, just use a pine bun foot from the furniture section at bunnings.
then a 5/16" hook of the correct size a few washers nuts and
a wing nut and away you go, only put it on when you want to lift it,
I can see a steel one in the makings as I type, Dont leave on whilst
cooking especially with COT. Has potenial modified a bit
