I got talked into a 600 dollar cordless thing. Was on sale from 800, it is awesome though for cleaning the whole house then taking it outside to clean the cars. Easy as to grab out and do a quick scoot over the floor so the house will be cleaner most of the time...Quote:

8.5kg is not big mate. Pretty average now. I'm sure ours is 8.5 too and with the two of us we only do 2 loads a week. Power bill is under 200 a quarter and water usage is under 50 bucks.
