They must have it pretty bad to warrant Phenergan :( We apply our son daily with pawpaw ointment and give him zyrtec as it helps control it, he also scratches during the night, long pants and shirts even in summer most nights and always have the nails cut and filed.
Phenergan 50mg and beer......it's great night sleep......I don't recommend it, but I do it!
Went for a drive, stopped for a spot of lunch and relaxation.

Well we made it back from our little trip in one piece. Was the longest journey the old trol has been on since I've owned it. 1200km and 240ltrs of petrol...... A little on the thirsty side but hey Ho, if I wanted fuel economy I would have bought a bicycle. No issues other than blowing a hose on the way there, so I'm happy with that. Just a little unhappy we had to come back.
Good to hear it all went well.
get home from a couple of days away and they DEC are prescribe burning the bush behind the farm.....feeling safer already.........very smokey...
Back burning is the best prevention.
Always use to do it back home..

Technically its not back burning, But a controlled burn. Back burning is used specifically as a firefighting strategy to deprive an oncoming fire of fuel. Either in a direct attack to the approaching fire or to widen an existing containment line (line of non-combustible material in the path of a fire eg. road, raked trail or burnt area)
Hazard Reduction The removal of flammable fuels in bush or grassland areas so as to reduce the intensity of a wild fire if it were to occur. Hazard reduction can be done by hand clearing, machine clearing or prescribed burning. Prescribed Burning Also known as “burning off”, “hazard reduction burning” or “controlled burning”.
Back burning is NOT hazard reduction

My oldest friend, who I have known since I was 8 (I'm now 40) has come through for me.....
I needed a road bicycle to take part in the ride to conquer cancer for Peter Mac hospital here in Vic and had hoped to borrow one from someone for the next 10 months while I train for it and ride it. Anyway being an ironman triathlete he has a few and has loaned me one of his.....amazing, full carbon Scott R3 beast. A great ride!
Even better, he's going to come down from Sydney and ride the 200km with me in support.
