That Fire will take more than a Week to clear up all Hot Spots as it is in Timbered Country.

Wouldn't there be some good places after Geelong like around the Otways ?? Or surrounding areas?

That whole area will be pretty much toast (not meaning to be flippant).
Has anyone done the Grampians? Apparently some great aboriginal rock art out there to be found (I think some of the oldest in the country)
I think the 4wding is only ok but might be an interesting adventure...

I did Rocklands reservoir at Christmas which is just West of the Grampians. Only 30 minutes from Grampians I think?
Otways is a wast of time.

Weather permitting, I'm taking the wife and kids to Sheepyards camping and then up to Craigs hut. If its too hot or raining we won't be going though...No point camping in sweltering heat. Especially at night.Quote:
