If it gets you out of the shite once and didnt cost
an arm and a leg in the first place its earned its keep IMO lol
@ Winnie I brought this one a few years back for $99, you'd be surprised how many times you use it.
Great for making new bits and pieces too

will just have to wait until an Aldi opens up over here in June
24mm Heavy duty front sway bar. Now the Bus doesn't nose dive into every corner.
Might have to do the rear now.

Nah its always dug into the corners. There for giving more body roll. I never liked it. The 03 models i think onwards went to a larger oem sway bay than mine, and yours. I was given some later radius arms, i didnt realise this at that time, but the sway bar mounts on the radius arms are different too. So i put new bushes in the arms, getting them ready for a change over, i change them over, then go to bolt up the sway bar and the bloody brackets dont match up.
So i had to get the later brackets to suit, then the bushes that suit the later brackets dont match. Ugh.
So i fabricated something up until i found the right bar. And one came my way, cheaper and better than OEM so im happy.
Id love to run the Superior Hybrib radius arms, much better setup than the Nissan style, and their Superflex bars, but thats 2k gone in arms and two bars.

Picked up an old jayco dove on the weekend.

Whoah nice one Rossco! What's the plan for it?
Spring over & 35s!!
Nah need to hook it up to the GQ see how it sits might give it a slight lift. Needs a bit of love but pretty good really for its vintage, always need a project. Will be good for mild bush access and a bit of touring. . . Might see if i can get it up Ellis on the weekend. . . Wink
Looks good mate.. nice neat buy..
Here's mine. 91 dove.
I've put eye to eye under it with a full 100x50x3 shs full chassis under it with 31" tyres..

The new full chassis

Yeah nice. What's the chassis, is that a jayco item or custom. Looks real good. Think the first thing I'll do is wire wheel back the chassis and paint. Probably put a treg on at some stage. Also look at the spring / height and tyre combo. Was it hard putting it on the new chassis?
Bought an air filter at repco today and he told me they are normally around $90 for main filter 4.2 diesel go patrol. I nearly fell over. But on sale for $45.
Bought a comp spec tie rod arm from road runner and as usual they are excellent to deal with..
Sick of bending the buggers so went with one super heavy duty one that has a guarantee not to bend or break for the life of the rod and a 2 year warranty on the tie rod ends.
Now that is everything under my car is solid heavy duty...

What my darling husband bought for me.
So I only removed the drawbar and springs..
The previous owner had the axle flipped and some dodge as hell spacers made up..
So I ran the 100x50x3 duragalv right threw, the welded the caravan sub frame to the top and the new springs under it..
I also put the new 50mm axle on top of the springs..
The springs are an out back eye to eye..
1.2T I went as I'm adding a a full size tool box to the front aswell as batteries etc inside..
I'll see if I can find more pics
Must have deleted them but I've found a couple

Picked up a WiFi OBD2 scanner from Jaycar, got it for the boy Excel to find a U/S crank angle sensor.
Plugged it into the GU8 & it gives MAP, RPM, coolant temp, % load, MAF etc. all on my phone.
Might have to download (and pay) for a better app to go with it, the free one is a bit clunky.
