They are old clamps they resemble old blacksmith post vices of yester year.
I have two blacksmith vice one is 57kg and 6" jaws the other is a 4" peter wright,
but I don't use that one. Don't know what trade they were used I think sheet metal not sure,
Just looking at your blank you could re-grind the handle an turn it into a coffin handle knife, be One of a kind

@ OD I've just brought 100 x 1/16th rivets for the buck 110.
yell out if you want half for $6 , compare that to where you get supplies from.
Ive found the Aussie mobs only buy from ebay sellers and put their bit on top.
Order some awesome mosaic pins that look like a star 1/4"
Also ordered streaky buff scales and some camel bone scales.

That is a sweet skinner, that is a far better price than what I have found. Do you have pic of the rivets at all? Not sure what style I am going yet but the ones you bought me be what I am chasing and will definitely look at getting some off you. Cheers for the offer :):beer:

The ones your after slide in each other don't they, called cutlery rivets, look in the shop they have them
as well, Pretty ticked off as my knives still haven't arrived, long over due is my 5" folded schrade with bone inlay.
My 110 25th anniversary Buck, and a buck tactical folder. Lately trying to find sheaths for them all, discarding the nylon ones
and replacing with leather
Might look around some trash/treasure sites and try and find an old large file, for a hidden tang knife

Here are some pics of the sheath, should have folded and then molded shape of knife before stitching as the shape warped when drying.
Just need rub some dubbin into it to finish off the leather

Weakened and brought a knife, 10" overall with Abalone inserts to match my folder
