Booked the Patrol in at ATOC to get the rear main seal fixed...
Installed my 4" snorkel today, not sure I'd be in a big hurray to do it again though.

Thanks Bacho. It's just the install. The snorkel is a high quality bit of gear, very happy with it and the kit has everything you need to do it. I'd probably make the following comments;
- There's no instructions. Although if you're prepared chop your own guard up with an air hacksaw, then you'll proably be abe to work it out.
- The template doesn't quite line up properly, but I just cut it a tad small then adjusted from there.
- There's 3 x 6mm bolts that go through the A pillar, and there's 3 x 5mm bolts that go into the snorkel and in the kit they gave me 6 x 6mm bolts, so I need to source 3 x 5mm SS bolts (not a big deal)
- The ram head is pretty light and doesn't feel overly strong, see how it goes.
The pipework is good, bends and welds are excellent. The power coat finish is top class. Even the supplied hose clamps are good quality and the A pilar bracket is also great quality.
All in all very happy with it, but unless you've installed them before probably best to allow a bit extra time.
