Oh yeah :) going to look at maybe using jarrah scales and use rivet screws to fasten them with a countersink bit

Have all the brass cut ,now need to shape it a bit better before putting it on , as it will generate too much heat.
I have small brass rod that will be perfect ,middle pin is a bit of a worry
these are the clamps I use plus I have some small 2" vices that help as well.
As you can see I have an edge on it now.
@OD that's a lot of width for a 5.5in blade
Nice clamps, need to get something like that as well, already 2 small vices.
With it's size, should be nice and sturdy.
