well i finally bit the bullet and finally mounted my new rear lights, 1st pic.. now i wont get any abuse from other drivers, just want to change all the globes led now...
but whilst i was looking at the rear drivers side wiring to the lights at the rear bar. i noticed the wiring that was done by the tow bar guys.. seriously, these guy said they where pros... they used those clip type connectors and wrapped the lot in black tape .. see 2nd pic.... the tape has been removed in the pic
now i like doing wiring in my car myself and do take some pride, so after a couple of hours of cursing and swearing, i had to buy a new soldering iron. the old one just wasnt cutting it,,lol.
so the end result of tapping in to the existing properly .. job looks much neater and looks like a pro did it... 3rd pic the loom heading of to the left goes through the grommet and up to the lights..
didnt take any pics of the finished product, its the same as all the others thats been posted..
now i am at work and wont be home for a few weeks,, can anyone tell me what globes go in to these lights and on the bumper lights?? i am now where near my car and i would like to get led globes from ebay before i head home again... thanx Attachment 59167

Remember to put white leds behind red lens'
and put 50ohm resistors on the indicators
Dont start me on scotch locks , its for lazy ppl IMO
Good to see you remedied the problem to be fail safe now.
Phfffttt scotch locks GGRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Dropped off my awning bracket for powder coating,
Safety yellow as they were doing that colour when I arrived
Pick it up Monday morning
Installed a Ram Mount in the GU "Cubby hole". Perfect spot for the Garmin.... :)
Made a big hole! Finally cut out the trim of the rear quarter where in some models the AC rest. Was a bit more work then I expected coz I wasnt able to remove the trim and there was a weird piece of rubbery material on the back of where I was cutting. Does anybidy know what the foam pads are for? Just noice reducers?
Now I have to make the piece I cut out into a door or something like it. I will use the space for extra storage :)
I will make some photos when its finished
taking mine in to the carwash to get all the mud off from last weekend.
The young bloke dropped
a silver ring down the
windscreen demister
ducts. I can't find it,
or hook it out
so I have been taking
the dash apart bit by bit
so I can get at it.
I've just put everything
together, as it isn't in any
of the ducts, so it has
dropped into the heater.
I have done one heater core
on a Magna, and am not keen
to do one on the Old Trol
if the ring damages it.
I will try and get an inspection
camera and look deeper.
