Im after a new set of 5 steel rims and tyres for the trusty patrol.

Looking for black sunraysia rims either 16"x8" or 17"x8" (give or take), and
Looking for muddy or aggressive A/T tyres, 33" preferred (give or take),

Plenty of tread would be great but PM me and let me know what you have and for how much and can go from there, the cheaper the better

Also i am in sydney currently but can work out plans from Sydney, Adelaide or Brisbane areas for pick up if all works out

Hey mate I don't have one for u but I just replaced mine as it was cactus. I bought a boss kit and a wheel from super crap and it does Te job. I know a lot of other forum members have done a similar thing.

thanks rusty...i have one in the car ATM too but i ripped the horn out when it started going off when i was driving around the car park and wouldnt stop.
So jumped out and started pulling wires until it stopped.Then the horn bit in the middle went missing or broke so.....i thort i would replace it with a OE steering wheel.
Have heard they are hard to get so will probly just get another after market one.

I am not aware of anything that is commercially available as a bash plate for a Long Range rear tank.??

I have a 145lt tank in my GQ and my GUIV and neither have a bash plate or a provision for one??

I can tell you that my GQ 145lt tank is likely to only be about a 130lt tank and has taken some VERY VERY Big hits! Never leaked and very impressed.

You might need to get something custom bent if your really concerned.

Hey thanks DC but i got it sorted.I have put a horn on the centre dash.
The little red button.Apparently its legal.!!

Fred, I bought a cheap ebay manual one, as the genuine ones are, as 256 pointed out, shockers in price (around 4 - 500 bucks). It's okay on the driver side as you can reach out and move the thing manually, but would be a pain on the offside. If ya do buy a manual one, take off the plastic frame and remove the mirror and silastic around the whole thing or the mirror will fall out and cost ya another $30 like me, DOH!!!

I'm chasing a GQ or GU Patrol with either a blown motor or something else wrong mechanically that will lower the price. I just need a straight, rust free body with the interior in decent condition for a dual cab chop.
