No big fish this weekend , spent the weekend at our club grounds at south straddie good time as always , all about the kids
my eldest was rapt with her whiting (RELEASED) she has caught fish before but this time she pumped the yabbies with me , baited her own hook cast and hooked and landed and unhooked this one , plus a sample of the crabs as well, top weekend

Could it be, is it possible that Bob and Mego have returned empty handed.
Only Gaddy's daughter produced the goods, on that Gaddy are they blue swimmer
or red claw. not familiar with interstate terms

Nah, I'm back last night and funeral today.

Threedogs , the front ones are blue swimmers or as we up here say sandies. Total count for the weekend was 6 sandies ,4 muddies , 1 ctn gold , a 2 bottles moscato and a bottle of bundy , and a good time had by all

Went to Bearii for the weekend and had a great time.
We got two keeper cod on the first night only.
One 63cm and one 68cm put them in the keeper net over night as we got them after midnight and it was f.....ing cold.
Went to the keeper net (which my mate bought brand new just for this trip) the next morning to take photos, lift the net out of the water and no cod. But a great big hole had been torn in the net. Very upset.
Got 9-10 carp, one big one, rest pretty small.
We came on river track where the old rickety bridge is and maybe a kilometre in turned right on a track with a big stump, which took us to the camp spot.
Very nice spot they selected.
Deep water straight off the bank.
Step in the water and its 1.5-2metres deep.
We caught 4 Crays on the rods, which we let go.
So much timber we went through, literally a trailer load every day.
Couldn't get any reception whatsoever.
Sorry boys no pics.

So its a big lie with no Pics, lol Can you if possible put a pic of the cray you caught in the Murray please
The crays we get in the Goulborne are big black and white units big claws not much of a tail, but oh so juicy
BIL got some that were brown like a really big yabby with sawtooth edge on their shell.

I didn't get pics this year, as we're not allowed to keep them where we were, so they were immediately released.
We got these last year. Attachment 30184Attachment 30185Attachment 30186Attachment 30187
