Spent a good five hours today under the bonnet. Manifold is off, new glow plugs in, injectors out and a few other things done. Just waiting on confirmation tomorrow about the different letter stamping on the new squirters to the old. From what i have found they are interchangeable, but i wanted to wait, just incase. Then its time to put it all back together.
I could have put the old glow plugs back in as they were still working, they were metal tipped too, and no missing tips. Thing is these have been in the motor since i have owned the car, around 100thou k's. And from what i know of its previous history, been in there for a previous 100thou. And no timer on them.
