I have a factory GU td42t and use the manuals from time to time. There is sections which pertain to the td42t you just have to know which edition/supplement to look in from memory (been a while since I used it)

I joined to download the manual looking for information on installing a rd28Ti in a gq patrol that has a RD28T if anyone can point out what would be required electrically then I have no need to donwload the manual and can save on server resources.

Hi All,

Just picked up my 1999 Nissan Patrol st gu 4500. Mainly for 4x4 and beach driving/camping. I was towing my Jayco trailer on the weekend and was disappointed at the pulling power and fuel economy, so immeditaly came back and started researching ways to increase power and obtain better fuel economy.

I love this car though and although it is a tank to drive, I feel confident it will get the job done when the going gets tough! The other car is an Audi and prefer driving my truck already!

Looking forward to getting under the bonnet of this beauty, appreciate the manual!
