Hi all
Well after leaving high school did 3years of an automotive refinishing apprenticeship, being young and retarded i threw that away. But for the last 7 years or so have been in mineral exploration. Specifically on the drill rig drilling diamond core, reverse circulation and directional drilling for drillcorp western deephole befire being bought out by boart longyear drilling.
Its a good gig and comin home for a week at a time lets me hit the tracks when ever i want :D

Fitter/Machinist by trade currently under the guise as a Element Technician.
Company I work for specialises in heating elements for industrial/commercial and the rare residential applications. We produce a wide range including flanged immersion heaters, duct heater sections, commercial refrigeration, drum ovens and really anything in between.
If you need something heated, I am your man..... lol.
I'm an Accounts Payable Clerk. Just finished up working for a national plumbing company. Looking for work at the moment :-(

I'm jealous of you! I'd love to own a 4x4 accessories shop. I'd have the most kitted out 4be in town.
Had a few jobs here and there in the early days, car detailer, labourer, bar work etc. Then did a stint in Sports Events Management at a Uni in Melbourne. TYhen moved back to QLD and was working for council landscaping. Now currently a copper. Been in the job for about 8 years now and loving it. Finally got back to the coast after spending the last 5 years out in an indigenous community.

Retired. Not really, was in a crash in 2008 and stuffed my back. Do a bit here and there in a spare parts shop but 9hrs on my feet doesn't really suit me.
Would like to do something a few days a week, maybe 4hrs but it's hard to get someone to take on who has had back surgery.
hi all i am new to the forum i am a paramedic out the darling downs way its a great place to live and work we love it out here away from the city. i worked 9 years in London so its a big relief working here the people are great and the job is nice and quite well most days it is. would like to get out more and get the patrol dirty just got the car last august and have got out into the black soil very interesting but great fun

Sheet Metal worker by trade I have worked in the building/construction game mainly installing ductwork for HVAC & vacuum systems, spent some time in HVAC restoration/decontamintation.
Got sick of crawling through ductwork/hot celings for a living so opted for a 'soft' trade.
Did a stint in a factory manufacturing emergency lighting.
Well i am still operating cranes but i am perth based now and get to come home every night and plan on having a lot more 4wd time this year and slow down on the hours working!!!!!!

Well, I have just gone up a notch or two. I am now the IT Operations Specialist for the Asia Pacific region for a Major Global Network company (We supply the infrastructure to the Worlds Telcos) submarine cables and enterprise fiber optic switching and networking.
Basically doing the same thing for my last company but on a much larger scale!!
