WOW that's crazy AB. Can't believe those rods, looks like it was a matter of time unfortunatly. . . Any ideas from the brains trust or too early to start speculating. .
Must have been sad striping that thing down, certainly didn't expect you'd be doing it so soon :( . . .

I can't believe the amount of internal damage to your engine mate. Complete catastrophic failure!
You have truly done a good job on it!

Good to see, hope the repair / replacement all falls into place and the Q is running again as sweet as Roofy's.
Great support from the guys and gals here and good work Muddy.

Hey mate, I still need to get the head checked but I have my doubts on it. There is slight damage there.
It's hard to trust refurbished engines in what internals they used too but that may be just me?
I really don't want to build either. I would like to one day build an engine but now is just not the time mate.
Ideally after a second hand long block (no bolt ons) and ideally still in the vehicle too. Obviously a silver top or td42t.
We all know of the horror stories of buying unknown engines not been able to see it run or properly test.

Yep been looking a lot mate and have Patrolapart on the watch as well.
As much as I hate to say this I think patience is the key rather then rushing into anything.

And most refirb prices are with exchange and it's safe to say my engine will be a planter box...

Hey Mate. I had a read and can't help but feel bad for you. I really can't donate at the moment but if my situation betters I will try. It's amazing to see the community backing you. Good luck with the head, I hope it can be reused. Take care.
