So just air getting in somehow then?
maybe a rubber hose has perished or copped a stick at some stage,
no wet spots anywhere lol
Takes deep breath and........
When i got the discs machined and new pads installed i got my daughter to help me bleed the brakes.. i completely stuff up and the reservoir ran dry and got air in the system so i tried the gravity feed as i had no one to help.
So the other day after nearly ramming a car i got erica to help me again and bled the brakes the good old fashion way with no gravity or my brake bleeding kit that hooks up yo my compressor... just a bit of clear tube and a jar.
So everything seems to be 100 times better.
Hmmm interesting...
I need to take mine into the brake shop and get them to just do a check over... which is difficult now that I have to drive the work car in every day I don't know how I'm going to do that.
God i love my car.... driving home late last night after hunting the car was running like a dream in the cool air of the night..
Except for being stupidly tired i could have kept driving to somewhere far away.
2 times last night i had to get hard on the brakes and they worked the best they ever have since owning the car in the last 3 and a half years.
Getting the bendix heavy duty instead of the 4x4 pads ( on advice from a brake specialist) was a bloody good decision.
I feel them really grab hard.. rears have about 10,000km till they need replacing so will do the same with them.
Yeah, I hope it did come across completely as a positive comment. It really is good that you can enjoy it now.
So in the last week I have made my remote activated relay box and still in the middle of wiring it all up and will also stick a small solar panel on the roof.
Hope to have that all finished tomorrow.
I rebuilt my power steering and now it is so quiet and smooth... lovely.
I added a fuel cut out switch and hidden it somewhere that is top secret.
I made up a bracket for my new hunting light that is so bloody big its ridiculous.. plus also made a bracket that hooks onto the door so I can rest on it while shooting.
I want to try and get my quarter chop done before the trip...
Took pics but they are on my phone and its gone flat.
All this with an operation last week and both kids home from school holidays....
Busy boy, well done mate!
Don't put the solar under the roof rack though. Although the bars in the rack block out a minuet portion of the panels it makes a huge difference!
I didn't believe it myself but marks old GU had that and the drop in charge was massive!
It will on top of the rack...
Winnie you crack me up[emoji13]

I would buy a cheap swimming pool noodle, put a slice down it lengthways to cover the bottom of that frame to be a bit less harsh on your door.
Its not finished... i painted it and now it needs the foam covering done ... oh and stuff the door.... it's my rifle i dont want all scratched up.. the relays work well and have them powering larger relays so as to cope with the 40 inch light bar.
I drilled a nice hole in my front quarter panel this evening for the power to go through.. once my Anderson plugs turn up i can finish the job.
Seeing as you have a completely different style roofrack [Mark]
with no mesh. place the panel underneath and measure
how many amps you're drawing, compared to on top. you might be surprised
With that style roof rack you could easily cut one rib out and cross brace it
and mount a solar panel flush to the rest, and not lose any strength.
Can always throw swag on top when going away to protect it'
Trouble with mounting solar panels to a roof rack is you need to park in the sun to get the best benefit.
saying that your fridge is also in in heat and working harder.
I prefer to chase the sun during the day with a portable set up
I am not sure... the ones i ordered would not work so i went to jaycar and just bought one of there 2 channel relays.
Its all done and works very well indeed.
I also fitted the solar panel.
Just need 20min to tidy up a few cables but Erica was in the house cooking her first cake solo so i had to make sure she did not burn the house down.
I will go out tonight and test my new hunting light... that should be fun.
Went out for a test and this set up is awesome...... mwaaaa!!!!!!
Ran into hodgy while testing... i wonder if he noticed i was wearing grandpa slippers...he he he.

I come around the corner, the whole footy oval was lit up, and it's not footy training night...... And then I noticed the familiar GQ, with some "grandpa" flicking the lights on and off with a remote control !
hahaha
That light packs some punch folks. And by the way thanks for lighting my way home too haha.
WOW that thing (Bruce) looks insane! !!!!! ☺
Looks good, I should really pull my finger out and do mine.
think you need some more lights mate
Nice spot beam on the hunting light.
You need a hoist like mine for hanging and dressing deer
much better than overlanding it on the ground
Once you hit 40 its all down hill lol
43 next month... but I look good.... bwa ha ha ha.
Looking really good, Jonno. I always knew you were scared of the dark.

Well George ordered me a new muffler from the states and it arrived last week... now this Saturday it will be fitted so lets see what it will sound like after this?
A little nervous as to the outcome.
You can't restrain the beast!
I have a large vacuum tank and power steering cap for Bruce mate. The dipstick cap is coming.
