Really wish I came now but only just got home from work. Argh.
Was a good morning shame I had to leave so early, we will have to do another one soon. Aeroplane was great!
Great day. We had a ball. I only got a couple of pics I will post later.

Pickers descending Saturday afternoon.
What a great trip everyone!!!
Red east track?
Wow, one of the hardest tracks I have been on. I hope someone got some footage but we spent an hour or two on this one long and steep climb, full of rocks and ledges.
The track had multiple chicken tracks that were actually harder then the main track so it was carnage when night set in...
Plenty of winching on the gu's but the gq's loved it...lol...apart from some damage.
Completely bent my rear panhard like a banana and my slave cylinder gave in as well as a small leak in the rear transfer where it meets the handbrake housing.
It's safe to say my old gq needs a lot of love before the Simpson.
Aeroplane track was absolutely ridiculous! Slippery as ice and deep hole half way up that was not possible to get over, more winching!
Bloody yota..lol...I had no option gents. I was last in convoy coming back down aeroplane and slid into a washout with 3 foot of silt and a long log stuck under the car!
Would of been a nightmare for someone to come back up to help me and then I saw a yota behind me...
Tried to get the rear snatching done sneakily but then damn Lucas got his camera out...lol
Best tracks I have ever seen in that area, did not even know they existed and we are keen to go back as there is another big climb we didn't get a chance to go up today!
Time for some front and rear superior panhard I think. Used the bottle jack to straighten it up which worked great to get back home!
Thanks for a great weekend folks!!
I have a rear panard for you mate.
Is Red east track the one Jane and I left on?
Well thanks to everyone that attended, it was an awesome weekend and great to meet some new faces. Here are the pics I got for the weekend.

It sure was. Well what I was there for any way. My dad loved it and mum is apparently sick of him talking about it already . For some strange reason he took a liking to BA but I'll just blame that on the 15 500ml Heineken cans I had floating around in my passenger footwell afterwards
I am truly buggered... got home at 1pm and spent a lot of it cleaning everything...
Some real tough stuff this weekend and that night hill climb was the toughest track I have driven yet...
All the GQ's got up under there own power it was the GU's that struggled on that hill, it was crazy at one stage getting Pickers up.
Once momentum was lost it was really hard to get going again.
There was a fair bit of damage sustained with me hitting a tree stump and blowing a power steering hose off and fluid everywhere...
Andy had the most damage with Panhard, clutch slave, and a leak started from the back of the gearbox.
I also got a stick jammed in the bead of my tyre as we were trying to leave the place as it was decided Toolangi had won this time.
Pickers had a spring spin around into the wrong spot on the front so was making a bit of noise but after that climb he really got off easy there.
There were a whole bunch of new blokes who were all good value and finally met Lucus and yes your dad is a good bloke (Paul).
The short time we managed around the fire was a quiet and easy going with only a few beers before most were off to bed... all so buggered.
Some of you will be shocked to know that Andy stepped it up to another level and helped with recoveries and even changed my tyre fro me and worked on his own car.... shock horror..
The funniest thing was watching Andy running up the hill in the dark with a plasma rope in his hands while a 3lt GU chased him....
Rossco as normal was not fazed one bit and never seem to be troubled... I must hurt him one day !!!
The video does not do this hill and how steep it was any justice... had a ball and always great catching up.

Man I am so glad but at the same time disappointed that I did not do that track.
P.S I have some vids but for the life of me can't remember my password for google so once I figure it out I will post them.

I'm going bald...Sad panda!!!!
Forgot to mention...Kev bought his mate who had a hilux.
We were no more than 100m entering toolangi on a 2wd track and he must of just hit a pothole which sheared the bolt straight off from the control arm...game over before it even begin, tow truck!!!
Poor bugger, did he get back ok Kev?
I think his yota just got scared in a convoy of patrols entering the state forest and packed it in...lol...bloody strange though how it sheared the entire bolt on a normal dirt road.
Wow what a trip , just like to thank every body who helped me out on that hill from hell.
Special thanks to AB for running up with the winch rope why I chased him in the gu like I stole it:driving2:
See you guys on the next one
