Apologies it is in NT but not Kakadu but does border Kakadu.
I was confusing myself as at first I wanted to do on in Kununurra.
Glenelg River S/W Victoria
Nitmiluk (Katherine Gorge).
Correct weightAttachment 25508
Thanks MM.
OK where is this ....... & for extra brownie points what is this distinctive hill/mountain called? (I still don't know at what point a hill becomes a mountain!)
That's a big ass rock.
Nope ..... it's a big ass rock with a hole in the top! :animierte-smilies-t
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh............
is it in VIC? its gotta be vic or tassie, i dont know of any other places with volcanic remanants if thats what your hinting?
Not Tassie
FanTapstic!
Here are a couple of guesses because these rocks all look the same at different angles and are all in the same vicinity...Bald Rock, The Pyramid, Mt Norman> Bald Rock NP/Girraween NP
Ooops....didn't see the hole through it! Wrong!
Nope none of you are in the right state yet. Apologies if I appear to have misled, it is NOT volcanic. The hole in the top is visible in the pic, I didn't mean to hint that it had an unseen crater.
Would it be a bald Hill lol
Would i be correct in saying its not in SA?
Is it in the Bendigo region?
Not in Vic,
Not in Tassie,
Not in SA,
Not in NSW.
Am off to the Patrol for some more rubbing down. May offer up a clue later if no one is any warmer. In the meantime check out the plant life - it may offer some idea........
Oh bugger it here's a clue ...... it's coastal.
got me stumped!
OK..... It's not in NSW, Vic, Tassie or SA........ it's coastal........... the hill's name has something to do with a frenchman & it is close to where this pic was taken & it's in a National Park.
The name of either the nearest town, or of the NP wins.
Supplying the name of the hill, or the beach where the roos are gets you an elephant stamp. :)
Edit: AND the nearest town is 56kms away, but you can drive all the way on the beach if you wish.
Can't remember any french explorers , Tamborine mountains area??
Mon repos National park
I had to look that one up TD ........ sorry not in Queensland either. :)
BUT I WANT AN ELEPHANT STAMP!!! (I think you must be on my wavelength Cuppa!)
Mount Lesueur, Batavia Coast?
I have absolutely no idea on this one...
What state ,where, what have I missed, its a clue isn't it, Batavia WTF
Tell to stop using Google Cuppa
Not too any areas where the sand is so white & the water so blue.
D'entrecasteaux national park?...just going with French names now!
