Alright. had a minor hiccup today whilst trying to remove the gearbox today. Was under the car with my brother he was undoing the front tailshaft and i was undoing the rear. As soon as i knocked the last bolt out of the back of the tailshaft the 2 block of wood used to chock the car failed resulting in the car taking of. My brother was lucky enough to get out before being hurt by i wasnt so lucky. The rear tyre just missed my face cutting it open then preceeded to roll straight over my left shoulder and arm and down my torso luckily i got my legs out of the way. It rolled down the yard with the trampoline stopping it from going through the house. A trip to the hospital for xrays and i dont know how but i didnt break nothing just some excrutiating pain. Nothing some morphene didnt fix. Home now but cant do much just gota keep an eyer on things and hope it hasnt done nothing to my lungs as ive had it collapse 5 times before. Anyways looks like the gearbox will be waiting till next weekend and hopefully i can use my arm enough for work on monday.

Another update for the gq. ordered my 4 inch lift on fri so now i got the painful wait for it to turn up. Guess it will give me time to start the qtr chop before it gets here.
Anyways what my lift consists of is
4 amada extreme shocks
4 ss flexy coils
comp spec adj draglink
ss steering dampner
adj panhards
extended front bumpstops
ext brake lines
brake bias
diff breathers
ext swaybar link pins
drop boxes.
Also went to syd yesterday to pick up a set of 15x8 dynamic rims to replace the 15x7 i have with my 33sx12.5 bighorns now. Once i sell the junk commodore stuff i have taking up space in the shed i'll be searching for paint for a respray of the old girl.

Crikey, just read of your adventures with being squished - what a moment that must have been, followed up by days of pain.
It can happen so easily, even to the experienced. An service foreman/manager type I knew dropped his holden ute onto his chest about 6 weeks after a by pass. Luckily there was enough clearance under there to save him from serious harm but I bet it gave those stainless wire twitchings down his sternum a work out.
Good to see you are alive, and well enough to keep on keeping on!
Thanks for sharing.

far out, so sorry to hear about the car taking you under the wheel.
Your gq is looking sweet man, and will look even tougher with the new 4inch installed.
Im gonna take extra care when im under my patty now ;)

Yeh thanks fellas it was definately a lesson learnt in that department think i'll just use the shed from now on as its flat and the carport is slightly slopped.
On another note 99% of my lift turned up this week with a 2 week wait on the rear shocks wish is a shame but not much i can do about it.

Since then havnt done much to it. Took it away for easter and let the mrs have a drive home with the camper on the back and ended up jacknifing the car and trailer. Fun fun. All were saved except for my new hitch that let go and my stonegaurd.
Well as of this week i ordered and paid for a dts turbo kit, 3" exhaust and 3 vdo gauges( boost, pyro, water temp). The exhaust and gauges turned up yesterday but turbo ended up in bris. Great!.
Will give me time to figure out how to install the gauges and what parts i will need for themm to get them to work.

Wheres the dogs Quad????
The mighty "Q" sits nice BTW
Just a note on crawling under 4x4s If you dont have Jacks to support the 4by throw a spare wheel under one chassis rail
